One of the things I hate most in this world is ignorance. I'm not talking about book smarts or how far one goes in school, as a matter of fact some of the most ignorant are those with much education and little common sense.
Why this rant??
After the terrible event that happened at the Boston Marathon, I started to see posts about which political party and/or the President were involved in this crime. I don't understand how in this day that there are so many narrow minded people in this world that would think one of our political parties would pull off such a act of terror for their own advancement.
That being said, there are now rumblings that Richard Nixon prolonged the Vietnam war to help himself get reelected ?? We know Tricky Dick was not above breaking the law here and there but even he would not condone todays actions.
I'm straying from my original thought which was people need to research events, news items and such to make a informed decision before making statements. Nothing behooves me more than to here that someone voted for something without even reading the details IR voted with a party because the family had since the battle of bull run. While loyalty to family is admirable, at some point we have got to be held accountable for our words, our votes on issues without going along with the crowd.
Does this make sense?
I am seeing where people are blaming our President. Notice I did not say Obama but our President. Presidential blame for events are for another blog. My point I'd, people make this statement out of ignorance, because they didn't vote for him, because he's a democrat, because he's black, for whatever reason. Does the blame really lie with him??
Folks, I respect your right to opinion and freedom of speech, I only ask that you make your thoughts known on your own and with the facts
